I've got an old dot matrix printer that is connected to a Win2k prof computer.I installed the printer when logged in as the Domain Administrator .I can happily print when logged on as Administrator, but when I go to print using anyone else's profile it stops me telling me that there are no printer drivers installed. This is very frustrating.I've tried installing on a regular user profile, but Win2k won't let me. Trying hard not to go back to NT!%-(

There are a couple of ways to go about this. One thing that would help is this a 2000 server domain or NT. One way is to create a new local user on the computer, and give it admin rights, and then logon as that new user, install the printer, logoff, log back in, right-click on My Computer goto propertes, goto profiles, copy that profile (the new users profile)look for Doc and setting folder and in there will see default User (you might have to unhide the folder) copy it to that, and type in everyone for the access. This will work but you will have to delete everyones profiles, in order for that profile to take over.
