Hi!
I have a report which use two unbound fields to show period start date and end date. Those two dates on the main menu form. I use FieldRecordSource "= Forms!frmMainMenu!StartDate". The strange thing is that when I preview the report those two dates are on the report. But when I print the report those two dates are blank!
Does anyone can explain and solve this problem? Thanks a lot in advance!
George

p.s. I did this before many many times without any problem

Does your menu form remain open throughout the print procedure or does it get hidden after the report is opened? I have had this issue before when the form is hidden or closed. It seems Access needs to refer to these fields again when it prints, even if the info is already present in preview mode. The way I got around this was to leave the form open but make it invisible.

Hi! Nigel,
Thank you very much for your quick response!
I leave the Main Menu open. Is there any other reason to cause this happen?
Thanks again!
George

When I change code from acViewPreView to acViewNormal everything is OK. But this still is a problem, isn't it?
