can't print from win95

Hello

Getting a printing error in Lotus NOtes 4.6.3 when trying to print, error is 'error printing' ( handy huh!). It's the same for any printer. the printers are on a Novell server.
I can print OK from any other application. have tried latest LJ 5m driver, pcl5e and 6. no change.

would prefer to install printer with TCP/IP direct using an LPR port, is this possible under 95 like it is under NT?

To print IP direct from Win95 - you'll need the JetAdmin utility (3.4 is the version I use) which will enable you to set the IP address on the printer if it isn't already set, and the same CD will let you install an IP-direct printer on the workstation. The IP direct part is built into Win2K, but the HP CD will enable you to do it from Win95. Fred Wagner
