I've noticed a number of people stating they are unable to print from adobe following an internet explorer secuity patch. This only affects about 3-5% of the user base, and there is no visible connection to whom it affects.
When they click on the print icon in acrobat, a message appears stating that they need to select a printer, and to go to the control panel and select a printer. The problem is, they already have.
A fix that has worked, was to uninstall acrobat, reboot, delete the acrobat folder, reinstall, and reboot. But this has only worked about 1/2 the time.
This tells me it may be a dll that is used by IE, Adobe, and some other application that may be using it off and on.
There was also a sporadic problem with IE not being able to open new pages after the patch. This was fixed by reregistering certain dll's
My problem is this fix isnt working 100% so I need a new one that does
Thanks!
