I have 2 computers they both have XP Pro. I share my DSL line between the two computers fine. I use a D-Link DI-604 router. when I ping the computer in my living room from the the computer in the bedroom all the packets go through fine. However when I try to ping from the living room to the bedroom it can not be found. I am not able to ping the computer in the bedroom to itself either. I am sure I have the right IP address. Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

Disable any firewall software on the machine that can't be pinged. Including xp's built in firewall. I assume that internet connectivity is working on both.
