I have 2 nortel 460s and 1 nortel 470 switches. They are trunked together, not stacked. One of the 460s is the main switch. The other 460 and the 470 are trunked off the main 460. I can ping the 470 but can not ping the 460s, either the main 460 or the trunked 460. I am assuming this is a configuration issue. Does anyone have any clues?

- Can they ping themselves?
- is the VLAN that has the IP address on it also the management VLAN?
- can you ping them from the 470?
- is the VLAN the IP addresses are in included on the trunk and configured the same at both ends of each trunk?

Vince - The Managemant VLANS were off. I set them for YES and I can now ping. Thanks for the tips.
