Hi,
I'm having loads of trouble with mail that is not getting delivered to me from my server. Each time I do a Send/Receive, I get this error message :-
Task 'name - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: -ERR problem retrieving message.'
I have NOT made any changes to account settings and this problem started about 4 days ago. I also have Outlook 2003 on my other PC, and that returns the same error message.
I have a few email alias's and they are all working fine, with the same account settings etc.
I have also done a "test account settings" in Outlook 2003 and that says things are fine.
I can send mail from the same address OK - no problem. Just can't receive...
I have contacted my ISP who tell me Outlook is corrupt. I have now eliminated this as the reason too by formatting my HD and re installing Vista, then a new install of Outlook 2003.
The problem is there again...
Any ideas ?
Cheers in advance !
