I am using Access 2000 and have a database that will eventually be placed on a server. As I copy the database back and forth between my hard drive and the server as I'm working on the DB, I lose the ability to open reports from command buttons on a form. The reports are still there and the VBA code does not appear to be altered. Anyone have any ideas what is causing this and how to correct it? Thanks in advance!!

Is this a frontend/backend db? Does the corruption occur after so many transfers (copy to and from server), or everytime you transfer?

Where do the reports work from: the server implementation or your local drive?

Any more detail you think of might go a long way to zeroing in on a solution.

Vic,
I'll try to answer the above questions, but I'm not the smartest when it comes to computers. The database is on a server and then each computer accessed by the users has the database on it in its entirety with the exception of the tables which are linked to the database on the server. I first noticed this problem when I attempted to import the forms, queries, and reports on to the computers. I later found that if I copied the entire database to the computers and then deleted the tables and replaced them with links, this problem was at least less likely to occur. The most recent episode of this problem was found when I entered data and attempted to view reports directly on the server after I had used the database the previous day without any problems in viewing reports. Hope this helped a little and thanks for looking in to it!!
