Hey guys,

I believe I have more then one problem and I'm having a hard time cleaning it up.
I've been hijacked by at least one "entity" but my biggest problem is that I have been infected by W32.Specx.Worm
I found the fix for it but I cannot apply it.
Since my problems started I'm having problems opening some software. It just shuts off right after I open it.
Among these are IE, OutlookExp, and ..... regedit.
Since the changes I need to make are in the registry I can't apply them.

How can I add or delete values from the registry without opening it ?
Any other suggestions ?
Thanks.

Start Windows in Safe Mode before running the anti-virus cleanup tool.

Also boot to a command prompt (or run CMD from Safe Mode in Windows 2000 or XP). Change to your Windows directory. copy REGEDIT.EXE to REGEDIT.COM then run REGEDIT.COM
