Win2kPro: in the Start menu i click on "Search" then "For Files or Folders" and nothing opens. the same thing happens when i click on "On the Internet" right below "For Files or Folders".
how can i fix this?

Hi,

I would try this:

System File Checker

To do this simply go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:

sfc /scannow

Have your Operating System CD ready as this will make sure all system files are working properly.

Hi,

Clicking on search only won`t give u what u want.u gat to do the following:
>click on start menu
>click on my computer
>click on search
>at ur extreme left click on files and folders
>type in the location of the file or folder (ie u know it) otherwise type hard disk or c:\
>below that(the box u typed in ur file location), u type in the name of the file u r looking for
>and lastly u click on search.
I hp this might solve ur problem.
