After having to rebuild the Exchange server, and reinstall exchange, I restored the IS using ISInteg –patch. This went well. Upon returning to work on Monday I reports that users can open some messages but have problems opening others. There doesn’t seem to be a pattern in size date, recipient or originator. When they try to open the problem messages they are told ‘Cant’ open this item. The operation has failed.’ I has been left overnight for an automatic cycle of IS maintenance, which was no help. Any ideas?
