Can't open file: 'my_table.MYI': could be the reason of a reboot?

Hi.

My Linux server has just restarted due to memory problems.

Browsing mySQL logs, I've found out 5,000 lines like these in less than one hour:

how much disk space do you have on your machine (df -k or df -h)

What version of mysql? 4.1.18 fixed a bug where tables corrupted on restart.

repair the table, see if that cures it.

mysql> check table my_table;
