Can't Open File Error

Hi.

We have a problem with one database on are MySQL server. From time to time we start getting an error return by MyODBC saying 'Can't Open File...' and the name of the table file it can't open. If we goto the command prompt and type c:\mysql\bin\myisamchk -r [tablename], 99% of the time it repairs it and we are back in business. This is only happening on one database on the server and not at consistant times. The setup is:

Win NT4.0
MySQL 3.23.32
MyODBC 2.50

Any ideas on the cause and solution to this problem?

could be a FAT filesystem or disk getting worse

check if you have at least SP5 or SP6a or SP6a+SRP1
