Can't open Field Explorer

All of a sudden I can't open the field explorer. When I click on the icon nothing happens. I tried it via the menu as well. If I edit an existing formula the three lists at the top are not there: Field list, function list, variable list.

Has this happened to anyone else? Do I need to re-install the software?

It probably a floating toolbar somewhere and is hidden by something else. I know that there is a way to get it back, but at the moment I do not recall how to do it. Hopefully someone else remembers.

I don't think it is a floating toolbar. Why would I lose the lists in the formula editor?

I had something similar happen a while back when going from dual monitor to single monitor and it was indeed floating offscreen. IIRC using the Windows key + arrow keys resoloved

It has something to do with my remote connection. I am using

http://www.logmein.com.

As soon as I try to edit a text field Crystal Crashes. This doesn't happen when I log in with remote desktop.

Once Crystal crashes the field explorer goes away. I'm working on the connection.
