Can't open FH7 -- "Unknown command"

HELP!!!

A Maccy sent me a fh7 file. I try opening it in FH9. It shows in the preview window, but when I open it, I get the message "Cannot open file. An unexpected command was encountered" or something like it.

My boss is spewin I can't get it right . . .

Please anyone got any ideas?

PS: My boss has been receiving these files from this client for a long time and never had any trouble.

It sounds to me like the file could be corrupt.

Was the file sent by email?

You could try deleting the freehand Preference file. (system folder\preferences\)
If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.
