any suggestions?

here in the office, i can open asp, jsp and make online transactions using Win98 and WinXP, but not on Win2000 ...

i even installed IIS (though it eats most of my RAM) and still not working... any suggestions?

thanks in advance

stupid question but have to ask
are you running the server pages through the server?

how are you trying to run them. win2K has no differences per say in how to run the server pages from IIS5.0 so the version of windows should not have much impact on them. however directory changes will.

what version of IIS is installed on the Win2K machine

im running those server pages in IE6 for online transactions and shopping cart...

i installed IIS 5 just because another programmer told me that my ASP pages 'may' work if i have the IIS engine installed...

i already allowed 128-bit encryption and SSL on the browser side, but still no online transactions can be made...

IIS is a server. ASP pages will not run unless they are interpruted by that or another server of some kind. It just sounds like you're not running them with the server.

The fact the programmer said 'may' was completely wrong. they 'have' to run with IIS (or a server supporting ASP)

try
