When somebody tries to open a spreadsheet we get this message:
FileXXX.xls is locked for editing by ''.
We don't see who's using it.

Can't open an Excel file

Delete the Temp folder then reboot then try it.
The path to the Temp folder is probably something like
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temp
