Can't navigate thru sql querry results

I am trying to extract data from an SQL db and display them on an intranet. I am trying to navigate through the returned results using the next , previous , last record links. However, whilst the initial values show "records 1-10 of 90" for example going beyond the initial returns produces the full list of records, the parameters are not being maintained from my initial querry.

Any ideas how to maintain these parameters?
