I use win2000pro as Administrator and I need to modify the interrupt of a PCI card. The problem is that when I go to modify the peripheral settings I can't do anything from the resources tab. Every field in this tab is visible (but with gray forecolor) and is not accessible. I can't explain why.
Excuse me for my poor English I hope that you can understand Thank you in advance for your support. I'm not an expert tecnician

i don't see a response to your question.
Did you sort things out?
My understanding is that when the settings options are greyed out it is because windows 'sees' a PCI card with no problems!
My problem may be the one you had, i.e. the usb card and audio card use the same interrupt (which windows allows!).
Since updating to 2000, my webcam won't work on usb and the driver cannot be updated - because it is at that point that windows recognises a conflict.
Windows deals with problem by not allowing the driver to be installed rather than reallocating an interrupt.

Since there appears to be no-one out there able to help, is the answer to buy a new board with a BIOS option that allows you to choose an option requiring that usb devices have their own interrupt?
