Can't modify DSS buttons. 1

I have a Merlin Legend r7 PBX where we have the MLX-20L operator phone with a DSS console next to it. There are a couple of buttons on the DSS console that I need to change. Here's my problem. Either using WinSPM or directly using the operator phone when I access the first extension button on the page I can't advance to the other extension buttons. If I hit Next or Enter either way I get kicked back to the previous screen (i.e. - SysRenumber->Single->DSS Buttons).

How can I change one specific extension button that's further along the page?

You can't change just one button. When you renumber the first button to maybe 100 it takes the next 50 buttons and renumbers them from 100 to 149.

The DSS has fixed buttons. They start at either 0 or 50. The "page" buttons can have their starting number changed to one of those multiples, and the rest of the buttons fall in place from there.

For instance, say you have extensions from 100 through 199. Button 1 becomes 100, and page 1 shows 100-149. Button 2 becomes 150, and page 3 shows 150-199. Button 3 is irrelevant here, but you could number it to show park numbers or page zones.

Thanks for the help. Explains why that didn't work. I guess if I did program multiple pages I would have to create a cheat sheet or else label the button choice with a very fine tipped pen
