Can't make Batch Version

In dev I can't make a batch version of a report. It doesn't kick back any errors and acts like it accepts it. but the version doesn't exist anywhere. any ideas?

Hi rusel01,
Please check whether the report object has been Checked-out on any of the machines. If yes, Check-in and try creating a version for it.It should work.
