Can't Logon to OWA

Hello

I'm really not sure what i did wrong and now i'm sure i don't know how to fix it. I installed exchange server 2003 no problem. everythin was working fine. i could access my OWA by using

http://myserver/exchange.

i would use my userbame and password and get in. so i decided i wanted to use SSL and the forms based authentication. i set up a CA on my network, i created a certificate from my exchange server to the CA. certificate was created ok so i setup exchange to use SSl, require 128 bit encryption, then enabled forms based authentication. now i can not get passed the username and password screen on OWA. i got to the page using

https://myserver/exchange

and the page warning about the certificate comes up, i click the link to continue anyways. i get the authentication screen and i type DOMAIN\Username and Password and when i hit logon i get:

You could not be logged on to Outlook Web Access. Make sure your domain\user name and password are correct, and then try again.

I know i am using the correct domain\username and password. i have checked using outlook and i still get my mail from the server without issue. it's only when i try to use OWA i get this problem.

Any Ideas??
