can't logon to bdc 1

we have one pdc,on bdc.

my workstation is winnt4.0
I login as local administrator ,
so when i connect to pdc,i need provide a username,password
but i can't connect to bdc,becos its net logon server is not running

whats the problem?

On the PDC, run Server Manager, and select (highlight) the BDC. Click Computer -> Services, select the Net Logon service, and click Start.

This will start the Net Logon service on the BDC. Once done, you can sync the accounts database, and you should be able to get back into the BDC.

Alternatively, use something like the shutdown.exe tool from the NT resource kit, to remotely reboot the BDC. If (after a reboot) the net logon service still hasn't started, run Event Viewer from the PDC, and connect to the BDCs event log... try and see what the error message is (as to why the service won't start).
