Hello out there !
And again I got some strange windows-behaviour.
I'm currently working on a win2k server box.
The system acts as domain/login/home-Dir. & Mailserver.
Some dasys ago ome of the discs in the array went offline with a strange error, but the system continued working.
Today I replaced the defective disc, put the raid-array to rebuild and restarted windows.
And now I have a problem : I can't logon at the server.
The username & password are accepted, win2k begins to load the personal settings and then stops and returns to the login prompt.
Thats it. I've tried "last known config"/vga-mode/ several restarts. no change.
A local login doesn't exist, someone was a little too paranoid setting this server up ( but not me ) .
Does anyone have an idea what this behaviour has to mean and how i can solve it ?
Is it possible to setup this behaviour in a logonscript or in some of the windows settings ?
Thanks for all ideas !
Greetings.
Roland
