Cant Login to OTM 2.0

I have installed OTM 2.0 on a Win2K Server (SP4) to manage our new Succession 11C's, and everything appears operational. However, when I try to log into OTM, it says "Cant create OTMAuthentication Instance". I click OK then it says "Authentication: 8000401a". If I try to log into the web page, I can get in as a user (where I would manage my phone, if I could get into OTM to set it up).

Is there a default password?? The OTM manual says to use any user ID and password for a local Administrator. I'm using the actual Administrator login. Any ideas?

Does that Administrator login have a password, or is it set to blank? If it is blank, go into the account and set an actual password (blank responses are not allowed).
Make sure that Administrator is still actually a member of the Administrator group (sometimes changed for security purposes).

Hi,

OTM 2.0 isn't 100% compatible with SP4. Install OTM on a win2k server with SP3 and everything will work just fine.

And AFTER you have started OTM and are able to login, install SP4 and everything should work

I bebuilt this server with fresh install of Win2K and SP3, then installed OTM - I still can't log in. Is there a default user ID and password? It's supposed to be any user with Administrators group rights, but this doesn't seem to work. Any other suggestions? Again, this is a fresh install.

Try the following:

1) Reboot the PC and log in using the LOCAL ADMIN account. DO NOT attempt to log into OTM

2) Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Component Services

3) From Component Services expand the following folders -> Computers -> My Computer -> COM+ Applications

4) Right click and select properties of the OTM Application

5) Select the Identity tab. Change the radio button from Interactive user to This User. Use the browse button to locate the Local Administrators account and select it. Input and confirm the password. Apply. Okay. Log into OTM
