Cant login into manager with password

10.1 VMWare server edition failed. It was restored off a snap shot by an IT company. I when I try to log in the password defaulted and it goes to the password reset prompt with resetting the three passwords. I when I try to use different password it fails to reset. I have not used the reset commands via linux in a while. What is the linux command to reset the Administrator password? Thank you in adva
