I had to restore a users computer from a server backup.I reset set hotmail as default email,everything seems to enabled, It said I was missing a certificate .I can surf everything but hotmail I get the log on screen and log in it then goes to a blank screeN. Thanks for any and all replies.

can't log on to hotmail after restore

use outlook or mozilla, in outlook if its the first use will ask do u want to set up a mail.
example
(o) Yes
( ) NO
NEXT>

In the box you are asked to type in email adress in
[JACK_OSBOURNE@HOTMAIL.COM]
Out look will auto know its hotmail and set up the mail adresses.
OULOOK will ask to download folders, say yes it only takes a min.
Or on Mozilla just go to hotmail.com and log in and see wot happes
