can't locate page palette 2

I am a novice user trying to work through tutorials.
Was trying to create practice doc. but have no page palette.
What now?

It's under Window>Pages.

What version are you using?

If it's CS2 then there will be a fly out menu from the side.

I am using CS2 4.0.3

There is no PAGES in windows OR as fly-out ..... it's just lost
Should I re-install the program?

Thought it worth mentioning ... I'm using a MAC

Before reinstalling, try resetting the workspace back to the factory default. It's under the Window or View button (can't remember) of the main menu.
