My computer totally crashed while using Sidekick. After I got it running again, sidekick would not open, and would continually cause the computer (win xp) to freeze. so I reloaded sidekick 98, and the patches. It opened right up. Then I went to retrieve my card files, and they all were retrievable except for one. I keep getting the error message "not a valid card file". Also, all my calendar data seems to have disappeared. Any idea where it might be? I'm stumped. I need this card file I can't open with all my business numbers. And I've got years of data on the calendar. Help is appreciated

Dear Peechee
What was the name of your Calendar?
Check out the FAQ pages at my website:
for the files that make up a calendar and other info that will help you sort this out.

first the answer to your question - the name of my cardfile was glp. it's still there but.... I went through your faq - Q13 - still not working. Still missing all of my previous calendar info (except for special annual dates). And still can't open one of my card files - get an error message - not a valid card file. Is there a specific faq # I should be looking at?
