After having formatted My hard drive to erase windows 98SE I then proceeded with the windows 2000 pro installation. Once the needed filed had been copied to the hard drive in C:WINDOWS, it then asks me to reboot the PC. Once rebooted I then get the option to boot from the hard drive or from the cd. I chose the cd first time round and the only thing that happened is that is copied all the files on to the hard drive again and asked me to reboot!!!
So Next time round, I chose to reboot from the hard drive,. A white Windows 2000 screen came up and a blue status bar slowly working its way across the screen. Once it got to about 2/3 of the way, a deep blue screen poped up saying that it was not possible to boot from the hard drive. How do I get around this problem. Could it be something to do with the bios??
