I have been using PC based computers for a long while and have CD 8 on them. I recently purchased a PowerBook and I thought, hey, it would make sense to upgrade to CD 11. I wanted to load the trial on the Mac to make sure the system configuration is ok and all works well. I'm running OS X 10.3 with plenty of RAM and disk space.
Problem: When installing I get an error after the majority is installed. I downloaded CGS11 demo for OS X. Unpacked archive, read README, ran installer as per README (exited all other programs, etc). The installer chugs along until it gets to 338 items to go (installing VSetupT) and pauses. Up comes a dialog "The application VSetupT has unexpectedly quit". The installation continues, and completes: "The software was successfully installed".
However, every application crashes when launched ("The application CorelDraw 11 has unexpectedly quit".
Has anyone had this experience?
