can't install sidekick 95 in xp 3

When I try to install sidekick 95 under xp pro, I get a message "sidekick requires win nt 3.51 or greater" and then quits. Any ideas on how to get it to load. Love the program so would like it to work.

For SDK95 in this forum and see what you turn up.

Also see the Faq area for this forum
to see how to upgrade to SDK98 which does work with WinXP.
If that doesn't help post back in this thread as I have it marked for email notification.

Today (2003/1/7) I've tried to download the SDK98 as mentioned in the other Thread - there are no files for downloading

Seems that starfish has closed his FTP too. Does anybody know another download location or has anybody these two installation files for SDK98 and SDK98 patch ??

the program download is still working, just paste this link:

into an ftp program like stardownloader which you can get from this webpage:

http://www.stardownloader.com

The patch is available from:

ftp://ftp2.starfish.com/pub/sk98/sk98patch.exe

and is also working 17:52 GMT 7th January 2003

I run sidekick 95 in WinXP Pro. Use compatibility mode.

I used the links posted here and they both downloaded fine. I did note that download accelarator would not work. I had to do a regular download.
