can't install nav2002

Hi all,looking for a bit of advise please,
can't get norton antivirus 2002 to install properly.instalation process seems to complete ok but on the last screen "click finish to restart" no reboot takes place.when i restart manually two windows installer screens appear and the pc reboots automatically.on reboot the same installer screens appear again and another reboot etc...the only way out of this is to go to safe mode and uninstall nav2002.tried to reinstall nav2002 again with same result. ??

Thanks for your help.
I found that nav was not the only program that would not load.I had only just installed win2002 and nav was the first program I tried to load.I have since reinstalled win2002 and all seems fine for now !!!.first installation may have been corrupt !!.
