Can't install Crystal Rpts on hosted website???? HELP!

All I've read says I need to build a setup project and install that on the server in order to stop getting the keycodev2.dll or invalid keycode error. Only problem is, I can't run this in a web hosting environment! Do I have to give up the idea of using Crystal Reports? I have a valid keycode!

I'm running VS2003, .net framework 1.1.

We've installed it on hosted websites before, try speaking with the hosting firm again and explain the requirements.

I did. They didn't want all of Crystal installed on their server. I'm not sure what gets installed where when the setup.exe is run. Can you give me that info and let me know how you approached the hosting company - i.e what they did to get it going?

if you have an install program for your app, then make sure that the installer includes the keycode dll.
