Cant install active directory

I am having trouble installing active directory in windows 2000 server ,each time I run the configure your server wizard,the installation starts then as its it is configuring the directory the computer stops,I get a blue screen that says" stop 0x0000000A IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL
THE MACHINE THEN REBOOTS AFTER ABOUT 60 SECONDS AND I log back in and it runs normally,each time I try to set up active directory the same thing happens.
Any ideas?
