Is it the notepad that you want to have the XP os installed on??? or are you wanting the notepad to be used as a network share for an install on another system???
XP Will install from an External or Internal CDROM. If you have a CDROM you should be able to boot from the CDROM and just start the install that way. The CD has the Partition Software on it. Make sure the Hardware is compatible with Windows XP.
