Hello All,
I've searched the archives but didn't see an answer for this problem. I have somebody that has a legacy MSAccess97 Training database (using Workgroup Administration to handle security as it is req'd for this need). This MDB & MDW file are located on the network so that multiple people have access. This person originally had this MSAccess97 database working on a Windows98 PC but recently have upgraded to WindowsXP with MSOfficeXP/2002 as this is the new corporate standard.
Now the problem is with this particular user (who happens to be the developer) can pull up the database in MSAccess97 but the 'insert new record' button is greyed out. I've had this same scenario with other employees and I've been able to install MSOffice97 into another subdirectory and have it work fine. But for some reason it's not working this time.
Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
NGonz
