Hi all,

I have an issue where I can't perform a backup or import forms when remotely connected to a CXi via port forwarding on a SOHO netgear router.

Port 443 is forwaded to CXi controller, do I need to forward any others? I can backup and import forms fine when I'm on site.

I have tried putting into trusted sites, my java is ok and I have cleared my cache. I can login to the controller fine and make changes but can't seem to do any of the above.

The router does not block any ports outgoing.

Thanks

Hi,

The only time I have had to setup port forwarding I have used ports 443, 80, 21 - 22 and 68 - 69 because I was doing various different things on the network but I believe you need port 21 for what you are doing.

Hope this helps

Regards

Thanks I'll try that and report back

update:

Did not work, I tried to port forward all port as above. Same issue can't import but can export fine.

After a little investigating with wireshark and referring to the Engineering Guidelines I have it working.

ChrisMitel was just about there so star for that, I had to forward ports tcp 20 & 21 to the Mitel as it appears the data is imported via a PASV FTP connection.

Port 20 is for data and 21 is for control.
