Cant Hear After MCT button pressed

We have malicious call trace on some phones and after the button is pressed on internal calls we can't hear or be heard. External calls work fine. What should I check?
 
MCT button? Shouldn't that be a TRC button and MCTA in CLS?
 
Curious why you want to malicious trace an internal call? Can't you simply configure the sets to display the internal caller's information? The call logs would have everything you would need at that point.
