Ok i have a toughbook cf27 that I need to get windows 95 back on. I have the 13 floppies with the windows 95 files or i can put them all on a cd but the problem is the stupid toughbook can either only have the floppy or the cd not both.
I can not get the floppy boot disk to recognize the hard drive as its telling me it doesnt recognize c:. The stupid floppy boot disk im using is trying to also setup for CD support and i do not freaking need that feature.
I can use a windows 98 cd and fdisk and see the harddisk and it doesnt have a filesystem but I can not format from the 98 cd because i cant extract format.com from the ebd.cab file because it has no where to go. How can I get the hard disk to recognize so I can format it using the windows 95 boot disk? I either have to have a CD that can boot with the windows 95 files or use all floppies. I DO NOT have the luxury of using both floppy and cd on this laptop.
