I have generated a table in SQL Report Builder 2 and wanted to add sorting on the Company Name
I right-click the text box in the column header to which you want to add an interactive sort button, and then click Text Box Properties.
Click Interactive Sort.
Select Enable interactive sort on this text box.
In Sort, click Detail rows.
In Sort by, specify a sort expression. From the drop-down list, I selected the field that corresponds to the column
[CompanyName]
when I browse the report using IE6 or IE7 however, whilst the up and down arrows appear in the header clicking on them does not sort the table on the name. When I click the down arrow you then see just the up arrow with a circle round it and vice-versa when I click on the up arrow, but nothing is actually happening in the columns:
I have
Enable interactive sorting on this text box ticked
Choose what to sort: Detail rows
Sort by [companyName]
Apply this sorting to all groups and data regions in
have tried blank, tablix1 and the dataset, but none of these seem to make any difference.
Can anyone advise - am I missing something?
Thanks
