can't get rid of Swen virus!

I'm getting desperate! I have run the Nortin Swen removal tool, and installed the Microsoft security update. However, I continue to get the emails with the virus in them into my Outlook Express.

Norton isolates them and removes the attachment, but the emails are still coming in. In the last day, I have received 70 messages with the virus in it!

How can I stop these emails from coming to me?

You cant really, unless you have some sort of access to your mail server. Are the emails all coming from the same IP if so you might be able to report it to your ISP and get them to filter it out.

I wanted to make sure that getting the emails doesn't mean that I still have the virus on my machine.

sounds like I need to contact my ISP to get them to do something. I had contacted them yesterday, and they told me it was not their issue.

mmm...if protecting the clients from email is not an issue for your ISP, then you might as well look for an ISP that cares for their clients. Look for an ISP that has an antivirus product on their mail server such as ScanMail from Trend Micro.
