Cant get rid of flash 5

Alright, I downloaded flash 5 just to check it out and when i played my movie nothing matched.. So i uninstalled it and reinstalled flash 4. Now when i view my movies in my web brower (Internet explore) It plays in flash 5 and nothing matches the way flash 4 did.. I cant get rid of it i dont know what to do. I went to Macromedia.com and I looked all over that site for flash 4 players and nothing, only flash 5 and some flash 4 for pocket PC. Im stuck again i need a hand.

The thing is though Kill, every time you enter a page with an f5 movie, you'll be prompted to download the corresponding plug-in, in which case you'll find that it will get back onto your pc anyway.

If you really want to get rid of the player you'll probably have to delete and reinstall your browser software as well as the f5 software. Or at least look for the plug-in in your browser directories.

try looking for the Shockwave Flash Object in the Downloaded Program Files folder on your hard drive. Check the version, judging by what you're saying your's should be v5, try deleting it.

from there scroll down to "discontinued web players" and you'll find "flash 4 player" ...
