Can't get relationship shape to highlight entities.

I have reverse engineered a LARGE database 200+ entities. I am now trying to modify my diagram in order to plan some maintenance. (We are missing some relationships.) My problem is that once I have dragged the relationship shap onto the diagram, I can not get it to highlight on an entity. I am using IDEF1X notation and I am grabbing the a side of the relationship toll and dragging it ALL OVER THE DARN ENTITY. Needless to say I am a bit frustrated. Any help would be apreciated.

I've found you have to drag one of the relationship shape end green boxes over the middle of the table shape. The table shape should then outline in red. Do this for the other relationship end, and there you are. One thing to check is the fields used in the relationship
