Hi,

I have decide to look into Ruby / Rails, I have downloaded the installer kit several times now from but every time I try to run the exe, it just errors saying 'the setup files are corrupted'

Note: this is the windows installer kit.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Finally got it sorted. It appears the Rails Installer is not compatible with my Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 ?

I had to do the following

1. Download and install Ruby with the windows installer
2. Download and install RubyGems
3. Use RubyGems to install Rails
4. Install DevKit
5. Create new application folder.

I now seem to be 'Riding on Rails' - yay!

Hope it helps others.

Regards,
