Hi computer tech's,my on board video card gave out onme. I purchased an agp card replacement, though I cannot get the computer to recognize it. Will flashing the bios fix this. I just need to somehow change the config to recognize the 3rd party card.

Any help will be greatly appreciated... Thank you.

Check in BIOS for an option to disable the onboard video.

If nothing is there, then check the MB's or computer's documentation for a MB jumper to reposition.

Check to see if your Bios has an option for primary display adaptor, It may say PCI or AGP, select AGP, Mind you Flashing your Bios couldn't hurt either.
