Howdy All! . . .

A scan of my system with [blue]BitDefender[/blue] antivirus came up with the following quarentined item:

FileName: sym.sdupk
VirusName: Gen:Trojan.Heur.PT.qnX@baRSTZo
FilePath: C:\Program Files\SpywareDoctor\avdb\temp\HIJACKTHIS.EXE1\

I can't make any determination on what to do with it as information appears to be scanty. Could be a false positive for all I know.

Anyone have anything that can be added?

It looks to me like BitDefender is scanning the folders of Spywaredoctor. It's possible for one antivirus/antimalware's folders contents to give false positives with other AV/AM products.

Regardless, seeing as how it's located under a temp folder for SpywareDoctor, I'd probably just delete it and move on... or if you want to be absolutely certain it's okay to delete, try renaming, rebooting, and rerunning Spyware Doctor, then delete for good if no issues noticed.
