Can't get in to Firebox 700

We have jsut taken over a new customer for IT support, they have a Firebox 700, There are some passwords written down on the books but none seem to work, There is no mention of a username, we have tried admin, administrator, doesn't work, Is there some weird username for these boxes, I don't see any mention of logging into it through a web browser in the manuals, all they talk about is using management software, We can't find that either. Is there any way to get into this thing with out wiping it.

I would give watchguard suppot a call on this one. how long ago did they purchase the X700. if the live security subscription is up to date then they may be able to help you. you will also need to speak to them about downloading the administration software. you cannot administer the firebox over the web. support 877.232.3531

check around they may still have the CD with the software on it. once installed you will be able to connet the the firebox VIA ip and the passwords. there are two passwords a read and a write password.
