I'm having a problem, in that my dnsbl entry does not seem to be working. I'm trying to use spamhaus, and using thei test email as recommended on their site - it's reporting that the SBL block is not working.
Can't figure out what I have done incorrectly:
1. Changed to config dir:
> cd /etc/mail
2. Edited sendmail.mc, added the line:
FEATURE(`dnsbl',`sbl-xbl.spamhuas.org')
(Note: also tried above without the quotes around dnsbl.)
3. Generated cf file:
> m4 sendmail.mc > ./sendmail.cf
4. Restarted sendmail:
> /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart
5. Sent test email to:
nelson-sbl-test@crynwr.com
(see "Testing your SBL Setup")
Reply: your SBL block is not working!
If anyone can see what's wrong, or offer a suggestion or URL where I can find more info, I'd be most grateful!
