Cant get data back from query

I have written a query that gets data from a table by the dates entered by the user. The first part ask for the start date which works, then the next question asks for the last date, i then dont get any data back at all. my criteria looks like this:

>=[enter the date you want to see the report from] And <=[Enter the last date you want the report to show]

does anybody know why this is not working?

If the dates were entered properly, that should work. Did you also try:

Between [enter the date you want to see the report from] And [Enter the last date you want the report to show]

Is this one of those cases where you need to surround the dates by &quot;#&quot; ? Terry M. Hoey

I thought of that too Terry, but that syntax works for me...I also thought it also might be the date format of the field queried, but it also works entering the date only on a General Date format field.....
